Department of Foreign Affairs : https://x.com/DFAPHL/status/1915606426262864000

“We learned with much sadness of the tragedy in Pahalgam where a brutal act of terrorism claimed innocent lives. Our prayers and thoughts are with the bereaved families. We condemn this senseless and cowardly act of violence against peaceful civilians. We condemn all acts of terrorism and condole with India in this time of grief.”

PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim : https://x.com/anwaribrahim/status/1915391416303497240

“I strongly condemn the recent attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir. Reports that victims were deliberately segregated before being executed highlight the calculated and inhuman cruelty of this assault. Such violence has no place in any civilised society. On behalf of all Malaysians, I extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. We pray for the swift and full recovery of those injured. In moments of tragedy, wisdom and restraint are essential. We must not allow such acts of terror to deepen division. Instead, let us reaffirm our shared commitment — in the region and beyond — to peace, justice, and human dignity. We also call upon the international community to support efforts to identify any remaining perpetrators and ensure that all those responsible are brought to justice — and that such atrocities are neither repeated nor rewarded.”

In an official letter addressed to the Honorable President of the Republic of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, on April 23, 2025, President Ramos-Horta conveyed deep sorrow over the incident and extended Timor-Leste’s solidarity with the Indian people during this difficult time.

President Ramos-Horta stated: “It is with profound sorrow that I extend my heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss of lives in the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Timor-Leste strongly condemns this barbaric act that claimed innocent lives. We extend our solidarity to the Government and people of India and to the bereaved families. The grief of the families struck by this tragedy is also our grief, and we share in their mourning. We reaffirm our support to Indian authorities in the pursuit of justice and fight against terrorism. May the families of the victims find comfort and strength to overcome this moment of adversity.”

Timor-Leste remains steadfast in its commitment to international peace and security and reiterates its strong stance against all forms of terrorism and extremism.”

Dr Shilpak Ambule : https://www.dailyexcelsior.com/condolences-offered-to-victims-of-pahalgam-terrorist-attack-at-singapore-forum/%23google_vignette

At the first India-Singapore Futures Forum held on April 28, 2025, tributes were paid to the 26 victims of a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. India’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Dr. Shilpak Ambule, called the killings “unfortunate and tragic,” highlighting the unprecedented targeting of victims based on religion. “The manner of killing by identifying the religion (of the victims) was something unprecedented,” said the envoy.

Singapore’s Ambassador-at-Large, Prof. Tommy Koh, condemned the attack and said, “Singapore stands with India in fighting the scourge of terrorism.” Prof. Koh also emphasised the enduring strength of India-Singapore relations amid global shifts toward protectionism and economic nationalism, stating both nations must rely on trusted partnerships in turbulent times. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said, “Singapore strongly condemns the terror attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Apr 22, 2025, which have claimed many lives.”
