Abstract
The recent BLA attacks in Balochistan highlight a deepening insurgency driven by local grievances, geopolitical tensions, and historical marginalisation. This article examines the shift from tribal-led uprisings to a middle-class militant movement rooted in student activism. It also explores how state narratives, foreign blame, and neglected governance fuel the region’s unrest.
