The Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) hosted a delegation from the US Military Academy , West Point at Chanakya Hall, CLAWS, Delhi Cantt on 09 June 2026. The delegation comprised of two officers from the US Army, along with six cadets, led by Captain Alyssa Walker and Captain Ross Mitsuo Ito from the US Military Academy . The programme commenced with Welcome Remarks delivered by Lt Gen Dushyant Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), Director General, CLAWS, followed by the introduction of the delegates and the CLAWS faculty members. Subsequently, a brief presentation was delivered on CLAWS as an institution, highlighting its role and contributions in the field of strategic and defence studies. The US delegation then shared insights into a typical day at West Point. This was followed by a High Tea and interactive session. Thereafter, a presentation on India–US relations was conducted with particular emphasis on cooperation between the two countries, followed by a short question and answers session. The programme concluded with closing remarks by Maj Gen RPS Bhadauria, VSM (Retd), Additional Director General, CLAWS, followed by a group photograph.
